Karly Koenig, MS, CCC-SLP


Karly is originally from Crookston. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She attended the University of North Dakota, where she completed her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. After graduation, she worked for Upper Valley Special Education for 2 years. She then moved to Seattle, Washington where she worked in the school setting for 2 years. She loved her time in the mountains but is so excited to be back home!

Karly has had the opportunity to provide speech and language therapy to children with a variety of diagnosis including developmental delays, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia, fluency disorders, medically fragile children, deaf and hard of hearing, receptive and expressive language delays, and articulation/phonology disorders.  She has received training in American Sign Language, Picture Exchange Communication System, Zones of Regulation, and Social Thinking. Karly believes that everyone has something important to say and she loves assisting children and their families in finding their voice. She loves working as a team with families, parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure each child has the best opportunity to reach their goals. She is so excited to be a part of the Quotable Kids team and serve the communities of Grand Forks and Thief River Falls.

In her free time, you can find Karly traveling, running, hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
